Meredith Salenger's net worth was reported to be $5 million at the time of her death on June 1, 2023. The actress was featured in two episodes of Dawson's Creek the teen drama that featured her. She was in two episodes of Dawson's 'Creek' a teen hit drama which starred James Van Der Beek.. The actress was the main character in the 1985 Disney film The Journey of Natty Gann and also on the screen in A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. She was Lisa Sanders in the TV series Hollywood Heights. Her mother taught her to play when she was only eight years old. She married in 2017. Jessie James Decker........................Born Jessica Rose James, Decker's somewhat exotic birthplace was a product of her being raised in a military family. Decker's parents relocated to Louisiana during the 1990s. Decker won a regional talent competition with a rendition that was a cover of the Patsy Montana song I Want to Be a Cowboy's Sweetheart when she was only nine. At the age of 15, Decker was living in Georgia. She began writing songs and regularly went to Nashville to look for a record deal. The representative of the record label independent Big Yellow Dog Records heard her aged 17 and immediately began selling her songs to various labels. The moment Mercury Records president David Massey saw the demos of Decker, he sent her work to L.A. Reid head of the subsidiary Island/Def Jam label group and Reid was able to offer her an album deal. Then, in August of 2009 she released her first self-titled album under the name Jessie James. Jessie James was reasonably successful and also featured Wanted an album track that made it to the Top 40 of the singles charts. Decker has always been a Country musician, yet her album was produced and promoted with pop audiences in mind. The album had two additional singles. the album stiffed Decker confronted label management to have more control over her music. her next single Boys in the Summer was intended to be a more traditional release. The second album that Decker released under the names of Daughter of a Gypsy or Sweet American Dreams was shelved by Mercury and three singles did poorly in the charts of country music. Decker was dismissed from her contract.
